Pest Identification

AphidsAphids

These small, plant-eating insects can be recognized by their soft, green bodies. Less commonly they can have a black, brown or pink coloration.

Though they may look harmless, aphids are a serious threat to your lawn and garden. They cause decreased growth rates, browing, wilting, low fruit yields and can transmit plant viruses.

White grubsWhite Grubs (Adult and Larva)

White-bodied with a brown head, this C-shaped larvae doesn't play fair. As opposed to other pests, these guys attack the roots of your grasses and ornamental plants, cutting off the superhighways of nutrients that your plants and lawn desperately need.

At first oddly shaped patches of grass will be off color, gray-green and will wilt in the hot sun. If the feeding continues, the turf will become spongy from their tunneling and attract skunks, raccoons, opossums and moles. Grubworms open the door for many pests and problems if not treated quickly and correctly.
